NB Heat Pump Quotes (“we,” “us”) is operated by Deskgo Canada, Fredericton, New Brunswick. By using this website or submitting a request through our forms, you agree to these terms.
What we do
We are a free matching service. You tell us what heats your home, and we introduce you to a certified local heat pump installer who serves your area.
We do not sell, install, service, or repair heat pumps. We are not a contractor and we do not provide quotes. The installer we introduce you to does all of that.
What it costs you
Nothing. You never pay us. Installers pay us a referral fee when a job they receive through us is completed. This does not change your price, and it does not obligate you to hire anyone.
No obligation
Asking for a quote commits you to nothing. You are free to decline any quote, get other quotes, or do nothing at all.
The installer’s work is the installer’s
This is the important one. Any agreement you enter into is between you and the installer, not with us. We are not a party to it.
We do not perform, supervise, warranty, or guarantee any installer’s work, pricing, timelines, licensing, insurance, or conduct. We are not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, delay, or dispute arising from work an installer performs.
We make reasonable efforts to work with certified installers, but you should confirm licensing, insurance, and references yourself before hiring anyone. That is good practice with any contractor.
Rebates and program information
Rebate programs on this site are run by NB Power and the Government of New Brunswick, not by us. Amounts, eligibility rules, and program availability change, and we may not update this site immediately when they do.
Nothing here is a promise that you qualify for any rebate or program. Eligibility is determined by the program administrator, usually through a home energy evaluation. Always confirm current details at saveenergynb.ca.
No professional advice
Information on this site is general and for education only. It is not engineering, financial, tax, or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for an in-person assessment of your home by a qualified professional.
Contacting you
When you submit a form or contact us, you agree that we or an installer we match you with may call, text, or email you about your request. You can ask us to stop at any time by replying or contacting us below. How we handle your information is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Using this site
Please use this site and our forms honestly and lawfully. Do not submit false information, submit requests on behalf of someone who has not asked you to, or attempt to disrupt or misuse the site. We may decline or stop providing the service to anyone at our discretion.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided on an “as is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim connected to this site or our matching service is limited to one hundred Canadian dollars (CA$100).
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law that cannot be limited by agreement.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of New Brunswick and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
